The following are images of five bridges which are the inspiration for bridges on the SFCRR layout.

1. The following are images of the Hop Gulch Bridge, a Colorado Midland Railway bridge scrapped for WWII iron.

2. Following are images of Scotland's Glenfinnan Viaduct, 1897, the first viaduct made entirely of concrete.

3. These images represent views and details of the Allanburg Bridge on the Welland Canal in Thorold, Ontario.
Most images are from www.HistoricBridges.org, a very valuable resource for anyone interested in bridges.
4. These images represent views of the ca. 1900-1970 Dead Horse Gulch trestle on the White Pass in Skagway, Alaska.
The bridge supported a narrow gauge line that was part of the Klondike gold rush.
5. The 99-foot double track Strauss direct lift span 1913 BNSF bridge in Steilacoom, Washington, Puget Sound.
This bridge model will be constructed after the Allanburg Bridge is in place.
